LOCATION
Huerta Grande is a rural tourist complex in 8 hectares of National Park at Los Alcornocales near the village of Pelayo on the road to Tariffa, the southern coasts most popular wind surfing area.
ROOMS
There are ten completely equipped log cabins which sleep 2 to 6 people. These cabins have a bedroom, living room, bathroom and heating. It may also be possible to rent a television. Commander's House has three double rooms with en-suite bathrooms, meaning four bathrooms in all, a lounge with fireplace, kitchen and TV. Guests can rent the whole house or individual rooms. The Spies House has four double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, a lounge with fireplace, dining room and kitchen. There are small studios next to the main house, with their own independent entrance, which consist of a double room with kitchen and bathroom.
SERVICES
There is a restaurant with a lounge and fireplace for the winter months, a patio for the summer months and gorgeous views of the Straits. There is also a pool and a visitors centre which contains literature and information for guests on the history of the Alcornocales Nature Reserve. The company specialises in outdoor sports such as hiking, mountain biking, riding, cultural routes, archery, multi-adventure activities, guided hikes and more. These can be pre-booked or details on arrival.
