Our First Stop is the 100 ton gun, a Victorian 100 ton Super-
Gun. This location is also known as Nelson's Anchorage,
where HMS Victory was anchored after the Battle of
Trafalgar with the body of Admiral Lord Nelson on board.
Our Second Stop is Europa Point, the southern most
tip of Gibraltar, which was an important area during the
Second World War, used for monitoring shipping passing
through the Straits.
We leave Europa Point to make our way to the Upper
Rock, where you have spectacular views over the
Bay of Gibraltar and the Gibraltar's Old Dockyard. Both
these places played a very important role during the Second
World War in particular, but were also used during
the Falklands war. Continuing up the Rock we arrive at the
Apes Den.
Our Third Stop is the Apes Den. This is the home of
the oldest pack of apes in Gibraltar - the Queens Pack.
There are six packs of apes in Gibraltar with a total of some
250 apes.
Our Fourth Stop is the entrance to the WWII tunnels.
The tour through the tunnels takes approximately one
hour walking downhill and terminates near Casemates
Square the main entrance to the City of Gibraltar and Main
Street.
